Hi everyone my name is Eva, the team leader and founder of AngryAnimeBitches Anime Blog! I have been avidly been watching Anime since 2006! A lot has changed since I first started blogging about anime, AngryAnimeBitches was founded in 2010, my third effort of putting together an Anime Blog after my previous two (unsuccessful) attempts with Wonderland of Anime Blog Spot and Hateshigani Yume, and blogging on and off at livejournal on my own. I have certainly come a long way since! Here you will most likely find me covering shows that fall into Romance, Fantasy, Supernatural, Sci-Fic and Mecha genres. My style is to dig into the depth of the story, characters, and enjoy speculating of how things may play out, or what to come. I also tend to be a shipper, and you will clearly notice exactly who I am supporting ahaha! As long as I am enjoying the show, I am pretty open to covering shows that last all year round or longer, so I am usually the one who ends up covering series like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Precure!

Oki is a writer and artist by trade with a lifelong love of anime. Her favorite animes range from the humorous lampshaded action of One Punch Man to the emotional deconstruction of magical girls in Madoka Magica. Most important to Oki is her intense love of characters and worlds where the relationships between characters are expanded on and given intricate detail.

Interests: Anime, Gaming, Reading, Writing, Trying new foods, Movies, Rhythm Games Hey, my name is Berry. I’ve been watching anime for as long as I can remember and always found myself drawn to it. If you asked me why I loved watching anime as a kid, I wouldn’t even be able to give you an answer. I can most certainly give you an answer now, though. There are so many stories that can be told through anime and I’m always surprised to see what kinds of stories come out (good or bad). I watched whatever anime was on TV as a kid, but I didn’t become serious about it until I was about 12. Now, I enjoy writing and talking about anime. When it comes to blogging and anime, I will watch whatever catches my interest and love most genres. Action, Adventure, Horror, Shonen, Shoujo, Romance, Sports, Music, Magical Girl, you name it! Genres I’m not into are Harems, Mecha, and Sci-fi for the most part. But if something is really good, convince me enough and I’ll check it out. I tend to ramble and really lay out my thoughts in my writing, and I love speculating and theorizing so I hope you look forward to that from me! Hello! I’ve been following AAB for a couple of years now and am really excited to be part of the team. I’ve been watching anime for almost two decades; the first anime I ever watched was a copy of My Neighbour Totoro that my mom recorded onto a VHS in the mid-90s (so no subtitles). Since then I’ve been to Japan twice and hope to one day actually learn Japanese properly so I can return on my own. I’m a big fan of many romance anime and I’m a sucker for happy endings; bittersweet endings make my heart ache. Because of my background in social work and my intense fascination with psychology, I have a tendency to analyze characters and their relationships. At heart though, I’m just a huge fangirl. (Ready, set, SHIP!)

Social Media: Twitter | MALIt’s a pleasure to meet you all. I’m APlus and I’ll be bringing some coverage on various shows for the foreseeable future. I’ve been engaging in the watching of anime for upwards of 5 years on a semi-serious level and this season I’ve made the terrible mistake of trying to watch everything coming out. I’d have to say I initially got into it because of DBZ, as a child, which later led me into Toonami shows like Zoids, One Piece, Naruto, and more. I listed my preferred genres above, but I’m really open to watching anything. I’ve seen enough to know that something that may look awful can do a 180 and end up being a great show and vice versa. I’m fairly new to blogging, though I’ve been writing for a few years about various things. Comments and criticisms are highly encouraged. So mold me. Mold me like a block of clay!Top 5 Anime: Violet Evergarden, No Game No Life, Kekkai Sensen, Haikyuu, Monogatari Series

Pandora here.nursing college student trying to survive and watch weird and outrageous anime. I also get stuck in reading comic books also( like DC, Marvel, and Image) I often get mad when I’m watching shows and start yelling at the screen and its embarrassing. Really embarrassing. I hope to correct my slang and not go rants, but I won’t guarantee that.
Top 5 Anime: High School DxD Hero, GTO, High School Girls, Noragami, and Angel Beats
Hey all, Shadow here! I’m fairly new here to AAB so please excuse my awkwardness of being a newbie. I’ve been a major anime fan for almost 16 years now and still going strong. While I’m pretty passive and quiet most of the time, I can get pretty passionate and emotional when it comes to anime… ESPECIALLY when it comes to shipping and characters I love. I’ve come to like an array of different genres from Action/Adventure to Comedy and Romance. Though I do tend to favor Adventure and Fantasy series. Anime that tend to jump out at me are ones that make me think and have really good character and story writing. But also love ones that make me bust out laughing out loud. As someone who has studied Animation in college, I tend to look very deeply into the animation and story-telling. Though I can overlook wonky animation (sometimes) if the story is good and the characters are written well.
Favourite Anime: Assassination Classroom, Kiznaiver, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Re:Creators, Idolish7

Hi, I’m Midnight. I’ve been a writer for AAB in the past. I’ve been an anime fan since the late 90’s, starting with Sailor Moon. Though the first anime i really knew was an anime was Fruits Basket and I’ve been a fan ever since, my favorite genre’s are horror, psychological, and comedy. With over 270 titles under my belt I’m ready to watch and talk about more.

I just started at AAB a little while ago, and this is my first time blogging properly (though I’ve got about 10-odd years of anime-watching under my belt). I started casually watching anime in around 2007, and by 2010 I was more or less watching everything I could get my hands on! I tend to prefer slice of life, comedy, and stupid shounens with lots of yelling and closeups of people looking shocked. As you might notice from that list, my favourite things to write about are series I can have a laugh at (whether the creators intended that or not). Having said that, I like to try lots of different genres; there’s very little I’ll not give a fair shot.

I’m Quietcupcake and I hope that we can all get a long. Despite being told that I would eventually grow out of it someday, anime has always been a passion of mine. Like many people I know, I was introduced to Japanese animation through Pokémon and Studio Ghibli (namely Kiki’s Delivery Service) from a young age. However, I didn’t fully jump into anime until Middle School when I started watching Naruto on Toonami and was also introduced to Fruits Basket. From there my life changed forever and I have not stopped talking about anime since. I’m a big fan of discussing anime in the academic setting because of the many different themes that can be presented in each series. Any time a professor said I got to choose the topic you better believe I was writing about anime. Additionally, I’m also a band nerd at heart! I play in multiple different ensembles with many different instruments! So, I really enjoy looking at the impact of soundtracks and how they help drive the anime! As far as genres I don’t know if I really have favorites… But I will love anything that will make me cry!Top 5 Anime: Zankyou no Terror, Ef: A Tale of Melodies, Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru, Death Parade, Sora yori mo Tooi Basho
