My god, time flew by hasn’t it? It’s already almost Spring, can you believe it?
Latest Update: March 15th 2011

Animation Company: Production I.G
Website: http://www3.nhk.or.jp/anime/moshidora/
Genre: Sports
Airing Date: March 14, 2011
Summary: A high school girl mistakenly reads Drucker’s Management and she leads a baseball club to victory according to the lessons in the book.
Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: Since this is about sports, count me in. Honestly I don’t watch much Baseball animes, (more of Soccer and Basketball), but that isn’t going to stop me to check it out.
Moe: *Hits. Head. Against. Wall. In. ANGER*
Myst: Bleh, I was never a fan of sports anime… Actually, just watching sports in general is annoying…
ZeroG: My body can’t handle sports, even if it is just watching them, I will be too exhausted
Balladbird: This is actually a fairly unique perspective on the sports genre, given that it comes from the manager’s point of view, rather than the runt/underdog-turned-star-player.  Not a bad concept at all.

Kampfer fur die Liebe

Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: Watched the first series, read the manga –  while I did like it at the start and found it just hilarious, I ended up forgetting about it and pretty much ended up dropping it. So it’s a no go for me.
Moe: Wha??
Myst: To be honest, I haven’t seen the first season, but I’m tempted. I guess if I have time I’ll watch the first season then give a better impression on it…
Oki: Naaah. Never saw the first 12 episodes so it would make me confused.
ZeroG: Haven’t watch the first 12 episodes, do not intend to watch them either
Balladbird:  I don’t get it… XD  Perhaps if I were more familiar with the beginning, I would be more adequately prepared to handle the conclusion.
Possible Bloggers: Myst,

Toriko (2011)

Animation Company: Toei Animation
Website: http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/tv/toriko/

Team Impression:
Eva: Looks like they are taking on the popular Shounen mangas one after another. For I who haven’t even read the manga, I will take a look at this to see if it catches my interest.
Myst: K… So, from what I understood, it’s about… hunting and cooking? …WTF?!?! Then again… Shounen… Comedy… Toei… Hmm, why not?
Oki: This anime actually was recommended to me by someone I respect. So I’ll be checking it out!
ZeroG: whaaa??? why do people always come up with even weirder stories ?
Balladbird: Ah, the life of a gourmand wastrel… traveling the world, ever searching for food with great flavor and texture (because, apparently, it’s really important in the world.)  It’s weird, but not creepy, so I’m all for it, I guess.
Possible Bloggers: Eva, Myst, Oki

Animation Company: Sunrise
Website: http://www.tigerandbunny.net/
Genre: Mecha
Airing Date: April 2011
Summary: A new anime series by Sunrise that wil be aired on TV and Ustream. The show intends to make use of the new advertisement method called, “Character Placement”. It allows the sponsors of the anime to put their logos on the characters.
Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: O_o WTF. I don’t even…
Moe: OMG YES! *flail* But dammit Mechaaa… OTL
Myst: o_o Wut?
Oki: I…I’d give it a shot?…Maybe??
ZeroG: Eh? those kind of shows makes me realize I could probably write anime script if I wanted, All I would need is a pencil and be able to line up a couple words before fainting out of boredom. It seems like even if there is no story, no original concept and no thrill associated with it, it simply doesn’t matter.
Balladbird: A series that comes right out and admits that its strongest suit will be its usefulness in promoting other shows?  I have a hard time wanting to watch a show with such low self-esteem.  :p
Possible Bloggers: Moe

Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai

Animation Company:  Nomad
Website: http://www.mmv.co.jp/special/oretsuba/
Genre: Drama, Fantasy, Romance, Harem
Airing Date: April 2011
Summary: A big city filled with people and buildings. It is now winter. When you look up, there is the cold white sky. Young people with anxiety. Love. This is just a story you can find anywhere.
Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: …. I’m iffy about this one…
Moe: …Fucker….
Myst: Unfortunately, I doubt it’ll be good, but the concept is interesting enough so that if it’s done properly it good be amazing. Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure it won’t. -_-‘
Oki: I’m interested in it 🙂 But mostly cause it’s so vague it might have something to it XD
ZeroG: A city made out of people and building ! OMG I MUST WATCH THIS IT SEEMS OUT OF THE ORDINARY!!! No I understand the concept of a regular group of people living regular stuff, but that’s not something I believe I would enjoy.
Balladbird: The vague premise would intrigue me… but they lost me at the word “harem”.  Ah well.  Maybe next year.
Possible Bloggers: Myst, Oki

Animation Company: Kyoto Animation
Website: N/A
Genre: Comedy, School, Slice of Life
Airing Date: March 12th, 2011
Summary: While the title suggests a story of simple, everyday school life, the contents are more the opposite. The setting is a strange school where you may see the principal wrestle a deer or a robot’s arm hide a rollcake. However there are still normal stories, like making a card castle or taking a test you didn’t study for.
Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: *STARES AT SUMMARY, READS IT AGAIN, THREE TIMES* … Um… I don’t know what to make out of this.
Moe: *jumps around like a maniac* that is totally AWESOME
Myst: Azumanga Daioh Part 2. No more needs to be said.
Oki: If I could, I’d like to give it a shot because it might be fun!
ZeroG: I don’t like shows that requires me to be completely stoned to enjoy.
Balladbird: I dislike the “slice-of-life” genre.  Spicing it up with rollcakes and robots just isn’t a big enough distinction to remove this prejudice from me.
Possible Bloggers: Moe, Oki

Animation Company: Sunrise
Website: N/A
Genre: Action, Comedy, Historical, Parody, Samurai, Sci-Fi, Shounen
Airing Date: April 4, 2011
Summary: Continuation of Gintama;
Life isn’t easy in feudal Japan… especially since the aliens landed and conquered everything! Oh sure, the new health care is great, but the public ban on the use of swords has left a lot of defeated samurai with a difficult decision to make concerning their future career paths! This is especially true if, as in the case of Gintoki Sakata, they’re not particularly inclined towards holding a day job, which is why Gintoki’s opted for the freelance route, taking any job that’s offered to him as long as the financial remuneration sounds right. Unfortunately, in a brave new world filled with stray bug-eyed montsters, upwardly mobile Yakuza and overly ambitious E.T. entrepreneurs, those jobs usually don’t pay as well as they should for the pain, suffering and indignities endured!
Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: I need to watch the original before I start this. GOD HOW HAVE I NOT WATCHED THIS SHOW YET? It’s funny as hell as far as I’m concerned.
Myst: Meh. I’ve never checked Gintama, never will Laziness is awesome.
Oki: I LOVE GINTAMA but no it’s cool bra.
ZeroG: Seems interesting, I will watch it even if it will be covered by someone else than me of course.
Balladbird: Ah, Gintama.  I could never quiiiite get into it, but I always respected it as the well-written parody it is.  should be fun to see some more of it.
Possible Bloggers: Eva (if she can catch up fast enough), Moe (Only if schedule allows… which it shouldn’t be that? bad?)

Moe: But I wasn’t alive then D:
Myst: I’m… Intrigued. Like, reaaaally intrigued. In a good way! 🙂
Oki: Naaah
ZeroG: I don’t feel really interested in this one
Balladbird: Historical drama is a favorite genre of mine, and I enjoy somber introspective looks at past japanese culture that doesn’t take place in the Sengoku era.  Chalk me up as looking forward to this one.

Moe: Heeeee I read this manga~! It better be AS GOOD.

Oki: I HATE YAOI T___T but this…actually looks cute 😀 but Moe has read it so I’ll step back.
ZeroG: I’ll cover it if no one else is interested, but I prefer guy on girl or girl on girl than guy on guy, but the story seems kind of interesting.
Balladbird: DomRomCom featuring shonen-ai.  Not really my cup of tea.
Possible Bloggers: MOE (BECAUSE I CAN), ZeroG

Ring ni Kakero 1: Sekai Taikai-hen

Genre: Sports
Airing Date: April 2011

In order to fulfill their goal of a perfect victory they’ll have to take on teams from countries like Mexico, Italy, France, Germany, and the mysterious and godlike Team Greece.
Team Impression:
Eva: I’m checking this out to watch, I like how they are using the old fashion character design, it’s refreshing.
Moe: *curls up into a ball and dies*
Myst: Boxing? Mehhh…
Oki: i hate sports with all of the fire in my soul
ZeroG: Just reading about sport I…must…take…a…pause…catch….my….breath
Balladbird: Boxing is perhaps the one passion I have above being a snarky jackass.  XD  Granted, I’ve never heard of boxing being performed as a team sport, and I’m more fond of the more realistic, down-to-earth boxing stories, like Hajime no Ippo, but the simple fact that the art style makes this look like they’re introducing boxing to the world of Saint Seiya is enough to make me interested.  … though in what fantasy world is a Grecian boxing club more formidable than an American one, really.  :p
Possible Bloggers: Eva, Balladbird (provided he’s able to get his other series organized, which is highly likely)

Satan the god of demons, but there’s one thing that he doesn’t have, and that’s a substance in the human world that is powerful enough to contain him!! Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: Now this looks interesting. OwO Me like… 8D
Myst: This is one of the shows I’m really curious about, I’ve heard many good things about it!
Oki: I really want this one but I will give it up as three other people already called dibs t_o
ZeroG: Looks good, refreshing story line, good potential for story telling, I’m watching this.
Balladbird: the story has potential.  If it manages to avoid falling into too many of the genre’s cliches it may be one of the best anime of the season.
Possible Bloggers: Eva, Myst, Moe, Oki

Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: This should be probably cute, but I’m not sure if I’ll like it much. I’ll give it a quick glance.
Moe: *stares in uninterest* Ooo look a butterfly….
Myst: -_-‘. End of story.
Oki: Looks cute! 😀
ZeroG: If only this was a ecchi it would have been awesome, I might watch it to see if the story goes somewhere.
Balladbird: Wow… it’s like a Japanese K-pax.  XD  Not my style, but can’t deny a unique premise its chops.
Possible Bloggers: Eva, Oki

Deadman Wonderland

Animation Company: Manglobe

Genre: Action, Horror, Sci-Fi

Summary: Ganta Igarashi has been convicted of a crime that he hasn’t committed, and sent to a new, privately owned and operated prison, where the inmates are the main attraction in a modern day twist to the gladiatorial coliseums of ancient times. Throw in a healthy dose of weird little girl, some new-found super powers, and a little conspiracy theory, and you have Deadman Wonderland.
Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: And the blogger for this show goes is… Moe?
Moe: Try and steal this one from me… see how far you get? >:3
Myst: This one basically can’t be debated as Moe called it like, 3 months ago… Apart from that, I dunno quite what to think of it.
Oki: I ain’t touchin it
ZeroG: This look awesome, I will watch this one no matter what.
Balladbird: A typical American action movie premise, with some japanese trimmings (and the customary schoolgirl) thrown in.  Sounds like a fun, but not particularly stimulating series.
Possible Bloggers: MOE. END OF STORY.

From then on his fate is radically altered as he’s drawn into a mysterious area known as “The Financial District.”
Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: LOL, WHAT KIND OF TITLE IS THIS?! BRB DYING FROM LAUGHTER. Okay I’m done. This actually looks cool, I’ll check this out.
Moe: *just invisioned Dokapon Kingdom in brain at the reading of the word money…*
Myst: O…kay? I guess… ? Agreed with Eva for the title, WTF IS THIS?!?! So, this is a show about money. I’ll check it out, I guess it could be good…
Oki: Naaaah
ZeroG: If this is a show about money and finance, I love thats stuff, I would watch that religiously, If it is about poor money management and the struggle of a clueless dude in front of money, I will be disappointed.
Balladbird: Not since I discovered that the old anime series “Kiddy Grade” starred operatives of a trade and tariffs union have I been so amused by a show’s premise.  The Japanese make even the mediocre affairs of finance management hardcore.  XD
Possible Bloggers: Eva, ZeroG

Eva: A Channel. So this is about ‘a channel’, soooo does that means there will be various of random clips of random shows? You know, like flipping through the channels???? Is this about girls creating random shows? Wait a minute… why am I starting to think this is going to be like Lucky Star or something close to it?! O_o;
Moe: Wha? *is so so so so sooooooo confused*
Myst: Azumanga Daioh part 3 After Nichijou.
Oki: Had my fill of slice of life before the season even begins XD

Myst: d’Awww, I’m always in for cute romance… ^.^
Oki: I AM THE QUEEN OF SHOUJO THE QUEEN I SAY THE QUEEEEN!!! but if Myst and Eva want it, I will give in *flutters away*
ZeroG: Not really my cup of tea, I’ll pass for this one
Balldbird: While I LOVE romance, to a degree no fanboy should, this premise sounds a little forced to me, and childhood friend romances are my least favorite of the group…  I’ll probably give this one a shot, but I don’t foresee liking it enough to play to the end.
Possible Bloggers: Eva, Myst *Bambi Eyes* Share?, Oki

30-sai no Hoken Taiiku

Moe: OH GOD I THINK I READ THE MANGA FOR THIS *hides under covers*
Myst: Oh, this is gonna be fun to Quick Glance. I want to bring this show down, REAL BAD.
ZeroG: Sounds really bad, but there will be sexual content…To watch or not to watch, that is the question.
Balladbird: Wow… while the premise doesn’t interest me in the least… I kind of want to watch it simply because I appreciate the show’s candor.  XD
Possible Bloggers: OKIIIII

Tono to Issho: Gantai no Yabou (Season 2)

Summary: Comedy parodying famous samurai generals and historical events.
Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: I haven’t watched the first season, so I won’t be covering this.
Moe: *stroke APH* no one will ever replace you in my eyes… EVER
Myst: BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! The 1st episode of the first season was totally worth it and absolutely hilarious. The rest was basically just 2-min. things though, however maybe they’ll change this in the second season… I hope so.
Oki: meh
ZeroG: Haven’t watched the first season, so no.
Balladbird: I’m behind on the series itself, and while I’m as familiar with Japanese history as I am with world history in general (a subject I minored in) the japanese sense of humor is often lost on me, so I may not appreciate a parody.  I might give it a try.
Possible Bloggers: Myst

Animation Company: Tatsunoko Productions
Website: http://sketdance.jp/index.html
Genre: Comedy
Airing Date: April 2011
Summary: The manga focuses on the misadventures of the “Campus Support Group” or “Sket-Dan”, of Kaimei Gakuen, a club devoted to solving any and all problems brought to it by the staff or student body for the general improvement of campus life. Trailer: PV 1, PV 2,
Team Impression:
Eva: Caught my interest, I’ll be checking this out.
Moe: Oh shit? Sket Dance? I wanna see this :3
Myst: Me. Want. It looks cool and I’m interested.
Oki: Threesies again?! Hell naw. I give up. And I love Sket Dance XD
ZeroG: Not interested.
Balladbird: Slice of life is no cup of my tea, but it sounds decent for its genre.
Possible Bloggers: Eva, Moe, Myst, Oki

Animation Company:  Studio Dice

Genre: Game,
Airing Date: N/A
Summary: The series is set in the near future. Yuma Tsukumo is the number one bad boy at his school. Something unexpected happens as Ryoga Kamishiro challenges him to a Duel. When the mysterious entity Astral appears before them a new legend begins.
Trailer: PV 1, PV 2 *SPOILER WARNING FOR YGO 5Ds EP 150 (PV STARTS AT 00;15),
Team Impression:
Eva: ;^; *HUGS YGO 5Ds PROTECTIVELY* WHY DID THIS HAVE TO START THIS SEASON? WHY NOT THE SUMMER?! WHY?! *WEEPS* >_> The character design is horrendous and the plot sounds boring. Besides that, updating the main character hair collection: Starfish (Yugi/Atem), Kuriboh (Judai), Crab (Yusei), now a Lobster? (Yuma). >_> I’ll still check this out, but don’t count on me blogging it.
Myst: I’ve never watched Yu-Gi-Oh and it isn’t now that I’ll start. All yours, Eva!
Oki: I love Yu Gi Oh but unless Eva gives up on it completely I’d rather not.
ZeroG: Never liked the Yu-Gi-Oh anime even if I loved the card game. so no
Balladbird:  Guess 5 D’s was too dark and edgy, so they dialed it back for the new season.  XD  While they get props for the main character’s specialty not being a damn dragon, my love affair of YGO died out ages ago… though I did enjoy 5 D’s and the first season or so of GX.
Possible Bloggers: Eva although extremely unlikely, Oki

Hidan no Aria

Animation Company: J.C Staff
Website: http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/aria/

However, when he gets caught in a bombing on the way to school, he encounters H. Aria Kanzaki, the most powerful S-Rank Butei student in Assault Studies.
Trailer: PV 1, PV 2,
Team Impression:
Eva: Hm. I hope J.C Staff will do this one right, hopefully this won’t end up as a disappointment as Yumekui Merry has turned out to be. Judging the trailer I smell harem, but it looks good enough to take a look at anyways.
Moe: This reminds me of a manga I once read… which I totally totally DESPISED *STARE*
Myst: It could be good but right now I’ve had my dose of high school kids having supernatural powers… The whole Winter Season was basically centered around that -_-‘.
ZeroG: That could be ok, could also be very very lame, I’m not sure I want to take the risk
Balladbird: the plot has potential, but will likely be derivative and forgettable.  I’ll keep an eye on it for now, but can promise nothing.
Possible Bloggers: Eva

Trailer: PV 1, PV 2,
Team Impression:
Eva: This looks cute. I’ll probably like this.
Moe: Love Hina… without men…. *headdesk*
Myst: Hm… I’m kinda interested, actually…
Oki: Sounds badass! 😀
ZeroG: Sounds like a beautiful story, not the kind of story I like, I like them dark and horrible.
Balladbird: More slice of life, and more moe-moe, but this series seems to sport an animation style that doesn’t make the latter as glaring as the above series I pointed these elements out did.  Could be really good.  Who’s to say?
Possible Bloggers: Eva, Oki (shaaaaare?)

Animation Company: WHITE FOX
Website: http://steinsgate.tv/index.html
Genre: Sci-Fic
Airing Date: April 2011
Summary:  Steins;Gate is set in the summer of 2010, approximately one year after the events that took place in Chaos;Head, in Akihabara.

As they perform different experiments, an organization named SERN who has been doing their own research on time travel tracks them down and now the characters have to find a way to avoid being captured by them.
Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: This is definitely on my list. Whenever WHITE FOX is involved you can count me in. They haven’t failed to disappoint me yet. Considering this is taking place after Chaos;Head it’s going to be dark and I’m going to have to brace myself for alot of blood probably – but without a doubt this is going to be action-packed.
Myst: Um… WTF?! You know, it sounded cool, but then they mixed the words “Microwaves” and “Texting Time Machine” together…
Oki: I like! I really like!
ZeroG: Sounds weird and possibly interesting, I might try this one
Balladbird: Was there a first season that they’re referencing?  If so, I’ll be more lost than just the premise alone is making me.  XD

Trailer: PV 1,

Eva: O_O; There’s really no info out on this except this is based off a game, so yeah this is a promotion. But.. the PV is seriously amusing me. I’ll probably watch the first episode just for the sake of laughing my head off, mocking it or whatever. If I do cover this, I’m not sure whether I’ll be able to take this seriously. Other than that, the digital animation is ugly~!!!!!
Moe: *sigh* I hate being so confused..
Myst: -_-‘ I’m sorry, but I am not a child and therefore am not amused by seeing tiny robots move on their own. Pass.
Oki: 😐
ZeroG: If I were 12 I would MAYBE find this interesting, unfortunately that time was a long time ago
Balladbird: *sings*  anime designed to sell games is almost never good…  next topic.

The princess, however, bears a great dislike against men, and only agrees to create a harem if a human male is to join.

Eva: Pass, as soon as Ecchi and little girls come in, count me out – I don’t care if this claims to be “seinen“.
Moe: Awwllsss she’s adorable :3
Myst: Come on, the promo image screams pedophile Ecchi -_-‘.
Oki: I. hate. loli.
ZeroG: Oh that looks hilarious a succubi that needs to eat semen, that’s nearly an hentai scenario
Balladbird: On the one hand, I approve of the medieval setting, and enjoy stories that feature Succubi and Incubi.  On the other hand… well, it’s loli.  I have no strong feelings for or against it, but as a rule of thumb I tend to steer clear of ecchi series regardless of the age of the characters in question.

Maria+Holic: Alive (Season 2)

Animation Company:  SHAFT
Website:  http://www.mariaholic.com/index.html
Genre: Comedy, Parody, Romance, School
Airing Date: April 2011
Summary: Director Akiyuki Shinbo, studio SHAFT to return for new season;
It’s not easy to find the perfect girl, even when you’re the same sex! Kanako thought attending an all-girls school would be the perfect way to meet the girl of her dreams, but after her hot new roommate turns out to be a guy in drag, and catching the eye of the most popular girl in school only brings down the wrath of all the OTHER similarly obsessed girls, she’s not so sure! Complicate things with a cat-eared dorm leader, her roommate’s rude-mannered maid, an identical twin sister (who attends an all-boys school of course) and WAY too many attractive girls of questionable persuasions and the question becomes whether Kanako will die from frustrated nosebleeds! (Life would be SO much easier if guys didn’t literally give her the hives!) Will Kanako ever find a non-polar opposite of a compatible non-opposing polarity? Let’s just say that the quest for true love will not run straight in Maria Holic.

Trailer: PV,

Eva: I liked it, but never really got into it. Pass for me.
Moe: I LOVE THIS SERIES… Alas it has already been taken…
Myst: I haz not seen first season.
ZeroG: Haven’t watch the first season. no comment.
Balladbird: I, too, cannot comment, as I haven’t watched the first series.

Eva: …I don’t know what to make out of this…
Moe: Haha! Samurai man with evil Italian mustache:3
Myst: Uhhh…. No… Comment? I seriously have nothing to say about it…. Not interested.
Oki: AHAHAHAA..noooooooooooooooooooooooo
ZeroG: Not my cup of tea, ohohoh pun.
Balladbird: As a fellow tea lover, I sympathize with this poor hero’s plight, and it’s refreshing to see a historical drama that doesn’t portray Oda Nobunaga as some wicked demon vampire.  Sadly, covering just one series a season will be hard on my bandwidth, so I cannot lend this one my support.  Sorry Furuta-san.  Boxing > tea in my list of priorities.

Summary: New adaptation of Masamune Shirow manga.
Trailer: PV
Team Impression:
Eva: >_> I can’t see myself being interested in this whatsoever, even though its mecha involved… I’ll look into it, but certainly won’t cover it unless it’s surprises me.
Moe: *is getting nostalgic feelings*
Myst: It doesn’t seem like my type of show :/…
Oki: No. It’s just not my thing at all. :\
ZeroG: If only there was more info about this, I can’t really say if this would interest me or not yet.
Balladbird: Appleseed was one of the first anime movies I ever saw, waaaay back in the late 90s.  When they remade the movie a couple years ago, I lapped it up, and I admit I’m excited that this anime icon is finally getting a series.  I hope it lives up to its legacy.

Trailer: PV 1,
Team Impression:
Eva: … We all saw it coming. One one more season to go with this joint production unless they plan to do another. This is probably going to suck just as much as Ironman and Wolverine did. >_> I kind of wished they did Batman, maybe that would’ve been good…
Myst: I didn’t bother with the first 2, why bother with this one?
Balladbird: I don’t get it, Stan Lee.  XD  If you’re willing to give out all these licenses for Japanese production, why not give us an anime series for Ultimo already?
Possible Bloggers: Oki (Oi, your invisible here), Ballad

Last Notes:
Eva: I’ll be blunt. I’m honestly not impressed with this year’s Spring season (heck I said almost the exact same thing last season and look at me now and how many I put my name up for lol). It doesn’t look like I’ll be covering much that’s totally a lie since it’s all mainly eechi and just perverted material – as you know, is not my cup of tea, while on the other hand it’s like giving chocolate to Oki and Zero. I’m looking forward to The World only God Knows, which I sadly won’t be covering since I know Myst is head over heels for that show. I’m definitely curious about how Steins;Gate will turn out since it’s being produced by White Fox which is one of my favorite animation studios that hasn’t failed to amaze me yet (lets keep up that perfect record). Also despite I’m covering YGO 5Ds, (and that as some of you may know is ending on March 30th ;A;) I will still check out YGO Zexal just for the sake of curiosity although I have very poor and low expectations for it since it’s giving me YGO DX vibes all over again, and it’s even worse that the main character is a child. Gintama will be hot this season, however I have yet to watch the first season (IKR? EVEN I CAN’T BELIEVE I HAVEN’T WATCHED IT YET! D: I should start now >_>;).
Moe: Considering what is coming out, it is true this season may be bland but HO SHIT DEADMAN WONDERLAND AND AO NO EXORCIST AND HOW THE HELL CAN YOU GO WRONG WITH SHONEN AI???? *ahem* Yes well, I am looking forward to what I WILL be posting, everything else can go back to living under a rock…

Myst: If Eva wants to be blunt, I’ll be even more honest: This season is gonna suck. But whatever, let’s not break down in tears right away at how horrid this is gonna be, but rather let’s view the very very very small amount of shows that might be interesting.  The World Only God Knows Season 2 is mine, apart from that, well there’s a shounen coming along and 2 or 3 possibly good high school setting shows. The one show from this season that intrigues me the most is probably Showa Monogatari because it seems very unique, and I’m really curious as to how they’re going to make this. I do believe I will have a lot of fun bringing down some of the other shows… Seriously speaking, I’m not expecting much for this season, and the last one was much more interesting. This season seems to have an “Ecchi” theme plastered all the way across :/.
Oki: Well, last season I was a lot less impressed and the variety this season is only lacking in the shounen area, but there’s some interesting stuff. Just no kickass action like I usually get, but a few. We have variety, even yaoi! Now where’s my yuri?? I’m not impressed or disappointed, since MARIA HOLIC HAS A NEW SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!
ZeroG: I feel a lot of love in the air, many romance this season, unfortunately I feel like they are aimed more towards either a younger audience or a female audience, I feel kind of left out. I appreciate both extreme of the spectrum, might it be intensely deep and dark stories or simple and random ecchi, but I don’t enjoy the middle. I don’t enjoy romances so much.  While many of the others seems to feel that this will be mostly ecchi, the few ecchi I saw will most likely be covered by Oki, and what is left is not the kind of ecchi I’m looking for. Atleast there are shows that look quite interesting like Steins; Gate and Money control and what not that title is too long. But still, sometimes previews and description are deceitful, maybe some of those shows will blow my mind in unexpected ways, only time will tell.
Balladbird: This season is a 150% improvement over the last season, and since I only started following anime by the season last year, that’s about all I have to compare it to.  While last season was mostly niche and hard to swallow, there are many more open, less secular titles in this season’s lineup, a few of which may even have the appeal to cross the pond and find success overseas if they live up to their potential.  Put me down as looking forward to it.

I will be watching world god knows season 2
    also deadmanwonderland
Ao no Exorcist cause it looks ok
and also Moshidora is a windup ripoff

    1. Eva

Ao no Exorcist looks promising. It will definitely be filled with a ton of actions (heck its PVs are filled with it). Moshidora, the idea may sound strange, but it’s something that has caught my interest. I’m secretly hoping there will be some sort of minor romance development since it’s a girl taking care of the boy’s baseball team as the manager. XD
The World Only God Knows S2, I think ALOT of people are looking forward to it. They aced the first season, so I can’t wait to start watching it again – too bad Myst is has called dibs on it for hers alone, I would’ve definitely covered it as well.

Maybe Myst will be so kind as to allow you a small “Eva comments section” for the series if you send it in before Myst does the post?
I’ll definitely be watching The World Only God Knows and Toriko. Maybe Aria as well. >_>

      2. Eva

Don’t worry, it’s just a silly joke between her and I and some of the others.
I know she absolutely loves the show so I’ll let her have it. Depending on some episodes I may join her entry, posting my impressions, after all we do that every now and then. XD

  2. sam1456

romance into cartoons doesnt sound too good atleast i just cant picture it working out unless ur super emo or something

    1. Eva

I’m a shoujo fan, so it’s only natural I like romantic shows. Okay that logic doesn’t make sense because it can’t be applied to everyone but whatever. Nah, you don’t need to be emo or something to like romance in anime. Whenever there’s romance that’s where shipping/pairings comes in and I root for that pair in hopes that maybe they will be the CANON pairing (aka official). O_O Unless you’re thinking that i’m falling in love with the characters or something. (Fangirling is one thing, but falling for them for real is A WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY! O_0;)

  3. sam1456

Ok well as long as its not gonna be like letter bee cause lag seeing cries like every five seconds in the show and umm pretty sure there gonna have huge googly eyes when there at there emo prime

    1. Eva

Oh good god. Letter Bee was one of those rare stories where the main character bawled their eyes out every freaking episode (mainly in s1). I highly doubt any of these series will have any character, more specifically a MAIN character who will cry as much as Lag did.

Word floating around the chan boards for the next Madhouse Marvel anime, either Fantastic Four(lol Human Torch died, so Spiderman is the new member), or Blade(eh, I doubt they’d do this though”
Either way, so far it hasn’t been pleasing and it doesn’t really look to be good.
Tiger and Bunny, as much as I love Sunrise, it looks like complete shit, Sunrise is usually known for stuff like, Gundam, Keroro Gunso(SGT Frog, at least State Side, plus it ends in march D:), and a lot of other stuff. Though considering how the Japanese ate up Gundam Seed Destiny(Seriously? How did they love it?), I wouldn’t be surprised if the love this one too.

    1. Eva

4chan you mean? Hm, I wouldn’t be surprised if Marvel and Madhouse decide to have another joint project. I’m not quite sure how popular and good the actual ratings they get from their works.
Tiger and Bunny, I don’t know what to expect from it at all. I mean advertisement logos on the characters? Really now? Sounds alot like mascots of some sort. But like you said they may end up liking this a lot.
Besides that, yes Gundam Seed Destiny sucked, I had a hard time watching it and eventually dropped it.

  5. mythee

Ao No Exorcist is one of my favorite manga, so I’ll be watching that one with pure joy.
Appleseed was one of my favorite childhood mangas and I absolutely love the two movies (I have them in DVD and have watched each of them multiple times, lol) so I’ll be watching it as well. I was hoping they would be using traditional anime style and not 3D, but looks like they’ll be 3Ding it after all- and less well than the movies. Well, it’s Appleseed, so I’ll like it regardless. xD I just hope they don’t ruin it by inserting pointless fanservice everywhere. :T
The World God Only Knows is very entertaining, I’ll be watching that one for sure too. xD Can’t wait for the gender-bender plot… kufufufufu >3
Deadman Wonderland is on my watch list as well as Hana-Saku Iroha (can’t say no to a pleasant-and-relaxing-seeming all-female anime, no sexism intended xD) and Nichijou (once again, seems like a pleasant series, and this one probably doesn’t have any fanservice! <3)
Hyougemono looks like it might be a nice series as well that would provide a bit more than moe-moe and relaxation. I think I'll watch the first few episodes at least.
As for the Hetalia lookalike, whu… since when does that exist? Guess I'll be checking out the first season soon?
IT IS HILARIOUS. SO HILARIOUS. First time I read that manga I burst out laughing so many times okay IT LOOKS CRAPPY AT FIRST BUT IT’S AMAZING XDD I will keep reading this forever and ever lmao

    1. Eva

The World Only God Knows, gender-bender part – yes I cannot wait for that either, but Myst hasn’t read the manga so SHHHHH!! ;D Not that it says too much anyways ROFLMAO *SHOT*

      1. Myst

        :O I’m curious now. I CAN’T WAAAAAIIIIT :3 (whatever’ll be happening)

      2. Eva

  6. caro

awesome….love the pics..and cantwait to watch the anime

  7. liz
