Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V Ep 7 Img 0013What in the world just happened? Well can tell you right now, I am intrigued! Unfortunately Yuzu did not get to shine and duel against Sawatari today, instead the XYZ Duelist (who I will identify as ‘Knight’) came swooping in, telling her not to duel because he doesn’t want her to get hurt again. I wasn’t entirely certain whether we would get the knight’s identity today, but we did, which was a pleasant surprise. While Yuzu thinks it’s Yuuya, I have a hard time believing that myself because while they do without a doubt look similar, their hair and eye colors are completely different. I am not going to lie, my heart went doki doki when he told her he didn’t want her to get hurt again, and shielded her from the blast. But at least it was made clear that Yuzu does not like being put in the helpless damsel in distress situation and when the opportunity arises to even the debt, she will take it upon herself to deal with it on her own. While Yuzu’s spotlight was short-lived, I enjoyed seeing her successfully provoke Sawatari into having a duel against her. She storms right into his hangout and doesn’t even let him talk she like, “I HEAR YOU’RE PLANNING NASTY TRICKS AGAIN, AND I’M NOT GOING TO LET THAT HAPPEN, SO DUEL ME!” I eagerly await to see her have a duel on her own in the future.
Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V Ep 7 Img 0030I am quite excited to see what is going on behind the scenes at LDS, and even more so since during the was dueling, while there was no solid-vision, the effects were still happening in reality (better yet, this was not an action-duel). But even more so, I am intrigued to find out who the knight really is, and whether he really is Yuuya like Yuzu thinks he is. It was also quite mysterious that when Yuzu’s bracelet started glowing, the knight disappeared. So I wonder what the bracelet’s back-story is since it only has been highlighted this episode. Another thing that I have been keeping of mind in the back of my head is the timeline/potential for parallel universes plotlines. We have Sora who had indirectly told Yuuya that he is from the first generation (who used Fusion at the time) timeline, and now we have the Knight who uses XYZ summoning techniques. I don’t think they would be pulling a time paradox plot-twist again, but I am excited to see how these characters are connected, and whether they are all investigating the same thing, LDS. With that said, it is great to see plot is taking a step forward after I wondered last week when we would be given a direction of where things are heading.
It is pretty clear that Sawatari’s downfall is his arrogance. Even after losing against Yuuya, Sawatari was still on his high-horse, thinking he is the best duelist around and had even been slightly influenced by Yuuya on the entertaining aspect of the Action Duels. I am not entirely sure whether his loss against Knight will give him that much needed reality-check, but considering the circumstances of how duel unfolded, there certainly a possibility. I mean seriously, the duelist would be stupid if he wasn’t prepared for the magic cards to be destroyed when he put down all five cards without summoning a monster. By thinking he had it in the bag, Sawatari overlooked the threat which ultimately caused his downfall. Man, it was fun to see the Knight kick his ass without giving two shits about Sawatari’s sheer stupidity.
Next week looks like the LDS is coming over to the small the Duel Academy probably with some haughty mind-set. I am more or less expecting a filler episode, but given with what we had today, I am very excited to see how things will unfold in the future. It definitely boosted that motivation and certainty that I will surely be covering this beyond episode ten.

This was a good Episode! See Yuzu marching in that warehouse telling Sawatari off that was awesome and even when Sawatari told her that she could take it back and she won’t do it was awesome and Shows that Yuzu is not afraid of standing up for what she believe in even if it is scary like Sawatari! That Knight Duelist good dueling and I wonder how he knows about Yuzu being hurt before? I hope some of our questions will be answered very soon because I have a lot of them.

I am super excited for what is to come, but I don’t think we will find out too much until after episode ten. I am not entirely sure how they are going to lay out the show since they broke up Zexal into two seasons instead 100+ episodes like they had done with DM, GX and 5Ds, so I am curious whether they will be doing that again.

Good Episode! See Yuzu having the spotlight was cool. She was so brave and shows she don’t need anyone to do stuff for her. Yuzu March’s right in that warehouse to tell Sawatari off and the minute Sawatari try to talk she wouldn’t let him and that was funny. Now about that Knight Duelist he was awesome the way he duel with his monsters and beat Sawatari in the duel cool. I was so sure that was Yuya but now seeing the episode I don’t see how it could be him because he was at the duel school with his friends the whole time when it was happening so I don’t see how it was him. The Knight Duelist was very interested in LSD and the School. So I am looking forward to seeing how this will unfold in future episodes.

This is why I am suspicious that there might be some sort of time paradox or characters popping up from parallel worlds. But I have to say, the Knight duelist is freaking handsome despite the wild hair XDDDD
