The anime club cannot use their room because Student council thinks the club is not educational or helpful. Since they got kicked out of the room, they go to Akiba, which is “anime-heaven” basically. They teach common anime-lover knowledge to Minoa, who is excited for everything.
Even I learned something even though I’m a so called “ anime-lover” I learned about cosplay, and what those buttons are actually called badges( why though…Automatically when I think of badges I see the Boy or Girl Scout with a sash).
Erika likes cosplay, and switch her voice based on the character, which was really cool. Miko likes light novels( that was kinda already established in the second episode). KaiKai likes that grimore magic series( that was kinda already established too), Haruko like idol groups( also established in the second episode, and Arisu likes mostly anime, any kind, there wasn’t a particular genre. She’s like me, I used to watch anything( but now I stick to comedy and obscure stuff, as you can see)
The references dropped. I was dead..
And when they broke the 4th wall.. I was dying. Don’t drop the show in 3rd episode( everyone always does, if they don’t like it, but I usually give it 2 and not 3) And they were arguing about a show in their world that had the same premise of their show.
Student council got roasted. They were put in the oven for 425 degrees, crisped to perfection. Nothing else to say about that. They had a debate and they let the whole school vote if they could have an anime club. The student council was arguing that the anime club was not educational, doesn’t foster student relationships and they could watch it at home. Minoa was trying to do the speech to school, but she was about to fail. And then, KaiKai walked upon the stage, throws off his glasses and begins his speech.
When one of the student council member tries to roast him(I’m going to call her follower prez-ho because she one of those character who just follows her superior and has no mind of their own), he told her to sit down(“ Sit down, be humble..”)
Student council flamed.
Then he finishes his speech, and everyone claps to the student council’s dismay and they got their club room back and they are an official club in the school. But actually Kai cannot see without his glasses, so he is able to yell at the crowd without any fright.
The whole auditorium explodes in applause, RIP student council.
And what’s up with the student council prez and Erika? What happened there? I got it! They were friends in elementary school and middle school and then something happened at the end of middle school and they were never friends again. Plausible?( Okay, maybe not)
According to the show, episode three is where things started. Let’s see where this show will lead us.
