I was on Facebook and I saw a post that had the first few minutes of this show and tag of “ what the f*** is this?” before I watched the show. Then I thought to myself, “ Why do I always blog on weird shows?” But then I finished watching the show, then I was like “ That’s why I do this.”

Why tho….

Imouto sae Ireba li follows a novelist with a little sister fetish and how he goes through life with his friends and tries to get out of deadlines for his novels. The first few minutes of this show is a trip, it is one of his misleading little sister fantasies( I feel like they put that in there to see of people are were brave enough to go past that part in the show) When he was narrating the whole scene, I was dying of laughter. When she pulled those dank panties out of the void and she put them in his mouth at the end, I was literally done though. Dang, his fantasies be outta control.

When the editor rejected his manuscript, and he made up a bunch of excuses, I started laughing . It’s like every time someone doesn’t do homework and they come up with a bunch of bad excuses, and the teacher is like “ Nah..” If I were the editor, I would send it to manga publishing company and tell them to make a pornwha( korean porn comics), those are popular right now( be making that cash). Okay, maybe I’m a little too far fetched( anything to could be a pornwha, technically, they honestly just throw anything together and make those and people actually read them).

Then, we see he has an older stepsister( not his dream), and also a younger girl that has a crush on him( that seems to be a younger sister type, the one he fantasies about), but he doesn’t like her advances. But even that other girl says the younger girl could be his sister type.

When they were playing that game Turtle Soup aka Lateral Thinking Puzzles, I was surprised the MC got the answer right( but he knows how to miss deadlines and had probably missed a lot of deadlines in his time, so he knows what’s good)

All the characters are colorful and we learn a lot about them in one episode. The Itsuki is an aloof novelist who likes younger sister types, Haruto aka Prince Manwh*re is a famous novelist who never misses a deadline and is very practical, the girl Nayuta likes the MC and is also a good writer, the other girl Miyako is the quiet one who watches thing and happen and asks practical questions, and the stepsister Chihiro seems responsible and practical.

I liked the ending of the show where he cries after reading Nayuta’s book. I thought that was cute and not crazy like the rest of the show.
