They went to an AnimeCon, a really big one with over 600,000 people. I would love to do that.
Except the waiting in line in that hot heat where they spent 70% of the day. I would not be doing that.
I liked the part where they made a new friend, Yang BeiBei. She was really nice and she shared the same of love of anime that they did. She even took the trouble of learning Japanese, so she could go there. I admire that resolution. But they forgot about that phone number and contact info…I used to forget that all the time. That’s why I make friends and forget them all the time.
Also, that dad. He must know something about anime or he feels like something is suspicious. In the last few episode, they keep on doing the dad cut scene. The dad is making some sort of face.
As an anime lover, I’ve always wanted to go to an anime convention. I seriously haven’t been. I wanted to go a big one like Anime Boston or Anime NYC( which is next week by the way), but I’m afraid of the long lines and that train. I’ve rode the train and the buses in both places, but never to a highly attended event. It will probably be packed, like this:
RIP Kaikai. Rest in peace my boy. All sold out.
And also, what is with the next episode preview?
I feel its Minoa surrounded in enlightenment of anime. Maybe I’m reading into it too hard. Probably.
I have one last thing to say. Why do a lot people in this show like Re:Zero? I hate that show, not with a burning passion though. I’m one of those scrubs that think if the first episode is bad, doesn’t fall thru with the whole thing. I don’t drop a show after the third episode, I drop it after the first. I’m weird, and I know. There was some shows that it was supposed to be a comedy, but the first episode wasn’t funny as the 3rd or the 5th episode( like Panty and Stockings) or there is GTO that was funny for the first 20 episodes then it tapered off for awhile and then was funny with a vengeance.
Okay. Back to the point. I remember not liking it because the main character was ignorant, but not in a funny way. A deal breaker in every show: Is it funny or not?
