The girls finally got started on the photoshoot and Shinju and Marin were having the time of their lives hahaha!

When it comes for Marin to get into character for the shoot, she’s pretty darn good at it– except she really has a time limit of how long she can really hold the expression before melting back into fangirl mode. It was difficult for her to keep a straight face when she’s having so much fun and can’t help but join Shinju and gush about how cute Black Lily is. The two really click when it comes to gushing about all the details.

With Shinju as the photographer, we didn’t actually see her participate as much, but just being able to be Soma for a day is more than enough for her. But oh my gosh, I freaking died when Shinju’s B-Holder broke. The way it did had me laughing so hard because it looked like there was something alive inside her shirt!!!!

It also was especially sweet to see Inui was having just as much fun as the rest of them, even when Marin is the type of cosplayer she typically isn’t fond of. But there was a great moment when we really got to see Inui be the amazing big sister that she is. While thanking Wakana for helping Shinju get the chance to cosplay her favourite character, she recognized that her sister probably didn’t pay him properly for his work, such as the raw materials for the outfit, and other costs like transportation– which was very generous of Wakana to do to help her out. Inui understands the process well, so she will be making sure that he is properly compensated by paying for it herself.

And it was good that Wakana explained to Inui why Shinju felt the way she did to make sure she didn’t blame herself for not noticing. As Wakana said, sometimes it can be really hard to tell others what you love or what to do. It takes courage to do so. And for that, Inui really respects Wakana, and perhaps it also budding a crush on him too, because yes, WAKANA IS TRULY A WONDERFUL PERSON!

Thanks to that, Inui opened up to Shinju how she is jealous when there’s a cosplay she can’t pull off because her height wouldn’t fit with some of her favourite characters. That’s why she specific picks out her favourites that she can pull off. Truthfully, Inui would love to cosplay as Black Lobelia or Soma. But it’s not as though she hates herself, it’s only because it’s against her policy to play characters she can’t faithfully match so. Hearing that made Shinju realize what Wakana had told her was right on the mark, and decided that once she is in high-school, she will get a part-time job and start cosplaying too.

And with this the adventures of project Blaze has come to an end!

As for the second half of the episode, we got a mix of Marin’s next cosplay as Veronica, and the two of them going on yet another date!

Since Veronica’s outfit hardly has any fabric, it didn’t take long to put together, so not a whole lot of time was spent on it. But we still got some really cute moments from Marin with the shark teeth that Wakana made out of fake nails (she’s was so cute and Wakana was so pleased by the result, ADORABLE!!!!). We also got to see  Wakana having all sorts of feelings he doesn’t quite understand yet when he sees her in his gym uniform, as well as smelling like him because of using his body-soap when she took a shower earlier.

It’s also worth to note being able to wear his clothes should certainly help Marin’s earlier jealousy she had earlier. Not that she made any fuss about it, hahahaha!

Then we got to see Marin take Wakana on yet another date. This time it was a shopping trip to Shibuya in hopes to maybe find some casual clothes he could wear out and about. The only problem was that Marin… wasn’t exactly good at it. Despite that, it was quite cute to see how no matter what he wore, she thought looked super cool in everything. She even tried a “matching clothes” idea by trying on the same shirt as he did, but while it looked cute on her, understandably didn’t quite click with Wakana. Although of the clothes she picked was far to flashy for his preference, so it made sense why he left the shops empty-handed. But it’s better this way, since there’s no point of buying clothes you don’t feel comfortable or confident in.

There was a bit moment of ‘tension’ when Wakana had to tell Marin that he couldn’t help her with Veronica’s cosplay any further than the outfit since he’s too flustered about what might happen if he sees her with it on, particularly with her exposed underboob, (which, he finally understands what she meant by the appeal of a healthy underboob, hahahahaha!). And that’s totally fair. He can only handle so much.

After that extremely brief misunderstanding of what might have led that on, luckily Marin understands, but more than that she’s just glad it was only a trivial matter. So Marin will be doing the photoshoot on her own this time. It was pretty funny to see her tease him about sending a picture of her wearing the outfit– she really does get a kick out of Wakana getting all flustered about these things hahahaha!

You should’ve seen my reaction when I saw it on twitter that day. I was like “iOHASLDAKHJASDKHASDKJHASD YES I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN” I’m super psyched! They have enough material to adapt now, so I’m quite pleased! Really happy it’s happening, definitely worth the wait!
