YOU CAN’T FREAKING LEAVE ME ON THAT GOSH DANG IT. I was super locked into this episode and then they hit me with that freaking cliffhanger. Things were definitely getting good and they hit us with “NEXT TIME ON DRAGON BALL Z”. I cannot. First it was Kaiju no.8, then To Be Hero X and now Gachiakuta is leaving me in immense suspense. They can’t all be doing this to me!

Man, I really love premises of finding found-family. In Rudo’s case, I think he’s finally starting to really see just how much acceptance and grace the people in the Cleaners are extending to him. It’s probably such a foreign concept to him that he most likely doesn’t even know how to process it all after so much rejection from the people in the Sphere. And if Enjin hadn’t shown up, he probably was going to cry because of how overwhelmed he must feel from finding acceptance outside of Regto. I feel like he’d had given up on forming bonds with others or even believing that others would actually accept him, especially with what happened with that one girl from episode 1. (I don’t remember her name) Rudo has so much potential to change and I’m really happy to see him start to come to terms with the possibility of forming bonds with the others. Though I do hope he one day gratefully accepts help instead of feeling down on himself for not being able to do anything. One step at a time~

Gris is also just a great guy and a good older brother for Rudo. Satoshi Hino once again voicing the caring older brother type of character XD. I can only hope nothing bad happens to him.

A group of Cleaners gets called out for a request that supposedly claimed another Sphereite had lived and fell into the Ground but got taken by Trash Beasts. Immediately, that whole story sounds REALLY suspicious since from what we’ve seen of Trash Beasts so far, they would have just ripped up a person on the spot. Ain’t no way they would be sentient enough to take a person and hold them captive unless someone was controlling them. So already, alarm bells were ringing. Not to mention the “person” who shows up claiming that they were the ones who made the request seemed a little “off.” I’m glad Zanka caught on to how off everything seemed and they weren’t walking into things without their suspicions. Though that still doesn’t stop them from literally falling into the trap because of course it was. Ain’t no way that wasn’t a trap from how suspicious everything was. Though I do wonder why Semiu didn’t catch that this was a set up since she’s able to see into the future an all. But maybe there are limitations and was unable to catch that the request was a trap.

Along with Trash Beasts, we are introduced to another form of enemies, Raiders. Since in post apocalyptic settings, there are always human enemies. However, Raiders are also Givers, which makes them even more difficult to deal with as opposed to the people who were trying to sell off Rudo. While I haven’t seen too much of them yet, the Raiders do feel very reminiscent of the White-clad cult in Fire Force. Especially with how deranged they seem and want the main character for one reason or another. It all feels really eerie.

Despite a bit of difficulty at first, Zanka was able to take down the two Raiders fairly handily due to being able to connect with his treasured item more. I’m definitely interested to see what else the other Givers can do. Though that’ll have to wait because Zanka ends up in quite the dire situation where the ominous guy at the end of last episode appears. And whelp, he’s definitely not a good guy considering the torture and then ripping that one kidnapper’s face off. And here I was willing to give him a chance. But who knows, maybe he isn’t… THAT bad. Though considering what he’s done so far, it’s definitely not GOOD. Considering how dangerous he was set up to be, I do fear for Zanka. I’d be legit shocked if they killed him off for good. At most, he probably will be severely injured and will have to hand off his teaching responsibilities to someone else. But I guess we’ll have to see. I do hope he makes it out of this since I really want him and Rudo to be friends because even if it was brief, there is a possibility to have these two develop a good friendship once they put their egos aside and communicate better.

I feel like with each episode, more and more questions are added to the pile. Why do the Raiders want with Rudo? What are they truly after? I just want Rudo to be with his people. LEAVE HIM ALONE! I do hope we start getting more answers or at least take a step closer to them. And also, how they heck did Enjin and Semiu’s conversation go????
