I am a little disappointed that we didn’t get a follow-up or an expansion with how Rudo is feeling. Unfortunately it just jumps into silliness at the start of the episode. Though I admit I did chuckle at the fact that Remlin was literally about to tattoo Rudo’s back without his consent lol. Through that little interaction, we actually find out a little bit of Remlin’s take on the passed down Vital instrument where their imagination can transform the instrument into anything they see fit. To which, I hope will come more into play later in the series. Especially since it’d be such a waste to just leave it at that and not expand on it later. It is interesting how both Rudo and Remlin’s Vital Instruments are based on imagination though. Yet another similarity the two share in a sense.

It’s still adorable to see how hyped Rudo gets when allowed to go sift through junk. After basically being punished or admonished whenever he wanted to go dumpster diving, he truly is still a kid when in the face of finally being given the freedom to do as he pleases. He was basically a kid taken to a candy store in that moment lol. Though it is pretty concerning how the enemy team seems to have the ability to spy on them through televisions or electronic devices. Even more concerning that out of everything, Rudo brought said television as one of the items to use for battle. All the while teasing us with a showcase of the boss either wearing the same type of gloves Rudo has or if those gloves were initially his. Alright Gachiakuta, it’s time to start giving us answers! Or at the very least start down the path to those answers.

We are introduced to the creator of the full face masks and… he definitely is a Mamoru Miyano character lol. Not to mention going into this guy right after the Demon Slayer movie was certainly something lol. Then again, the two characters still share that goofy cadence. Though Douma is definitely more punchable. But we’re not here to talk about Demon Slayer- Anyways, Rudo’s mask is pretty dang cool if not hilariously edgy lol. I won’t deny the fact that I rolled my eyes pretty hard when Rudo made that thumb’s down motion when he defeated one of the trash beasts. You’re riding a fine line going into cringily edgy, my guy. While the fight was cool and all, I really wish we got to see them fight together rather than fighting separately. I already know how they fight on their own, so it’d be cool to see how they bounce off one another, just like how Zanka and Rudo did against Jabber. Not only that, but it was a bit of a bummer we didn’t get to see Tamsy and Delmon fight since we don’t know what these two are capable of yet. We’ve already seen what the others can do, let me see what the new characters can do!

However, the biggest wtf moment had to be at the very end of the episode where Enjin just dropped to the floor in a pile of drool. WHAT HAPPENED???? They most likely found the girl they were looking for a couple episodes back, but she for sure is off. Not to mention those little ribbons seemingly in her flesh on her legs unnerves me greatly. But she CLEARLY did something to the others so she could get to Rudo. It’s possible she’s working with the Raiders but she could also be part of a completely different organization or acting on her own. But either way, at this point in time, she seems to be acting as a threat unless that after credit scene was a red herring.

Episode felt a bit slow, though probably because it was a buildup to the next arc. So not as much thoughts as I did last ep. Though things are definitely gonna get real from the next episode onward if the ending had anything to say about that.
