I submitted a comment, why hasn’t it appeared?

All comments go through a Moderation Queue that must be approved before processed. This can be as quick as a few minutes or as long as a few hours. Rarely, has there ever been a case it taken longer than a day to appear, or worst case scenario: it gets caught up by the spam filter. However if the comment is breaching one or more of our rules, it will not be permitted through.

As of December 2018, we have tightened out rules in regards to the consequences of toxic behavior. For more information, please review our Discussion Policy Below!

How do I know if it’s in Moderation Queue?

When you submit a comment, it should tell you that it has been submitted. We are aware of incidents where WordPress has eaten our comments or encountered an error.

To avoid losing what you had just submitted, we advise you copy what you have written prior to submission in case it does act on you. It has happened to all of us at some point or another, it’s always better to be safe than sorry!

Where can I watch Anime?

Compared to how it used to be, there are plentiful of official sources, most of them offer Simulcasts, and have recently expanded to Simuldubs!

  • Amazon Prime
  • Crunchyroll
  • Disney+
  • HiDive
  • Hulu (*US Only)
  • Netflix
  • VizMedia

If you are one of the unfortunate ones who is unable to access these platforms due to region block, you can always check out alternative streaming sites that are very easy to find on Google.

How are you watching a series that isn’t licensed?

When a series isn’t licensed by any localization company, or in instances it won’t be released until a year later, then that’s where FanSubs come into play.

The speed of Fansubs depends on the individual or group behind it. Some come out within a day it airs, while others can take up to 2 – 5 days (on average), before it’s ready to be shared. So when we are covering series that depends on Fansubs, the days we get our entries out can vary based on the timing of the Subs’ availability.

What happened to the images in your older posts?

Originally back in 2018, select media content between 2010 – 2013 were annually being purged in efforts to keep the storage space down. It wasn’t until Spring 2019 we had transferred all of our image content to a Cloud Storage.

However as result of that, when it was time to move to a new server, the move would result breaking every image we had up to March 30, 2019.

In the end, after accessing how to proceed, we decided since it’s unrealistic for us to manually restore every one of our former writer’s image content, it means the major bulk of the images in our storage serve no longer have any use, so we decided purged the files that were previously imported onto the cloud.

All the writers who were still on the team in Spring 2020 focused on manually restoring our respective content as far back as they could. The restoration process began in Mid-May 2020, and will take some time. Please note that due to the sheer amount of content, we will only be able to restore a handful, and the series that continue to get the most attention.

Can I use your screencaps for my blog?

No. You are also forbidden from posting our written content elsewhere. If you wish to share our content with others, the proper way to do so is sharing the LINKS to our articles through social media and other means of referrals.

Can I request a series to be covered?

For the time being, we are not taking any requests. In the past we have explored an event known as Readers Request, however it didn’t exactly pan out the way we had hoped. We learned from that experience that while we may be interested in the show, it can be difficult to fulfill the request especially if it is the type of show we struggle writing about or we end up not liking it as much as we had hoped to.

Why the name “AngryAnimeBitches”?”

The name was suggested by a friend of mine when I was brainstorming what to call the blog. We all thought it was funny, so we rolled with it for the shits and giggles. I don’t think any of us actually expected it to take off the way it has. Contrary to our name, we do our best to provide fair coverage.

How can I join the Team?

Thank you for your interest, but as of 2023 it has been decided we will not be recruiting anymore writers. I simply no longer have the time and energy to teach the ropes as I used to.

Do The Writers here get Paid?

To this day, the answer is No. This is a non-profit blog that is funded by myself (Eva), the writers and our dedicated readers with Ko-Fi and Patreon.

Discussion Policy

Last Updated: September 16, 2020
– Added: Clarification & Temporary Solution to Implementing Spoiler Tags

As of December 2018, we are formally implemented a Discussion Policy. Please review the rules we have put in place for the comment section below.
So please be nice to one another and have fun!

  • Do not ask inappropriate questions (EG: Personal/Sexuality/Political/Religious, Etc…)
Please respect the writers by not asking such questions. Such behavior will not be accepted and removed.
  • Do not be Toxic (EG: Bashing/Flaming/Spamming/Harassment)
We want to encourage friendly discussion, it’s fine to have different opinions and agree to disagree, but please refrain from toxic behavior such as bashing writers/fellow commenters and characters and creators of the show. There is a fine line between fair criticism vs toxic behavior, and how you express that opinion must be respectful.
  • Do not Shill (aka: brazenly promote your blog/website/channel)
Please don’t. It’s obnoxious. Linking to news related articles or translations that contains more information about a series of subject are permitted.

  • When sharing spoilers, PLEASE USE THE SPOILER TAG!
When sharing spoilers, please use the spoiler tag. Comments that contains spoilers (both major and minor subjects) will be deleted. If the user continuously chooses to ignore this rule, they may find themselves on the blacklist. So either use the Spoiler Tag, or else don’t bother sharing spoilers.

    How to use Spoiler Tags!
    [*Coming Soon]

*At this time, we do not have convenient one-click/easy to remember spoiler tag system, so we would like to ask of you to please refrain from sharing spoilers if possible. If you wish to elaborate on something that may require sharing spoilers, then at the very least tag it by inserting: [SPOILER] content here [END OF SPOILER] in your comment, so we can implement the spoiler tag on your behalf.

  • 3 STRIKES AND YOU’RE OUT!

If you fail to comply to our rules, you will receive a strike based on the offense.

    Offenses resulting Major Strikes:
    – Repeated postings of spoilers without spoiler tag
    – Toxic behavior towards writers and/or others
    – Shilling
    – Spam

If the user reaches a total of 3 strikes, they will be blacklisted.
