Persona 4 Golden The Animation: Episode 3 [bikinis, teddies and speedos OH MY]

Summer vacation beach fun times go!!!!!

But no seriously, Golden’s anime continues with no reference to the plot and instead many references to the beach. Yeah. I’m so interested right now guys. LET’S GO TO THE BEACH WITH NO CONTEXT. I hate the way they made this anime.

They skip all content in order to take Marie on her first beach vacation. And I’m gonna be fo real here…they all look like assholes on their scooters. The P4 cast…riding scooters…looking like douchebags.

Just…do you see this…these faces…these douche faces are riding on scooters like jackasses. YOU’RE SO COOL GUYS

Okay but Yosuke being a perv is always okay with me ok ok okokok

After we get bikinis and speedos out of the way (we don’t even need to admit who was wearing the speedo, do we guys? please?)they all jump in the water and have a blast..until Teddie tries to undo bikini straps and uhm . . . .gets. . . .kanji instead. . . okay uhm let’s just end that whole segment with this screenshot.

Eventually they eat and all begin to ask questions towards Marie. She yells that none of that matters and runs off, with Yu following. She wonders what’s so wrong with having amnesia anyway, as she can still have fun with everyone.

Marie questions Margaret as to the differences between them and herself, to which Margaret responds that they’re all facing their trueselves. Marie begins to video tape everyones responses to that one key question, what does it mean to face who you really are? One by one they all reveal the essence of who they really are, reiteraring in summary what they all found out from the game and original anime. Eventually Teddie answers that he is in much the same position, but grateful because he has Yu and all the others looking out for him, and says it’s the same for Marie.

Marie resolves to remember what she’s forgotten, and the group plans a ski trip.

Despite it’s trippy nature, I still do like Golden. The problem is it really needs to be spliced into the old content instead of just add new shit- but I still remain hopeful for what’s to come. Here’s hoping for Adachi stuff and some more Marie boobies. Cough.
