Hallelujah! My prayers have been answered! We’re back to Danna ga the way it was meant to be! Without 3/4 of it being about the Broster. Thank. God. Now that that’s over, I can get back to watching the show I fell in love with. So let’s start our itty bitty recap.

The episode starts with the husband telling his wife that he was done being a professional blogger and tells her that he is going to go out and get a job. This completely blows her away and feels so proud for him.

Holy crap, THIS guy thought he needed to get a job? hot damn. good for you guy!

Getting himself together he heads off to look for work. Unfortunately it doesn’t go over too well until he calls the guy from last episode who he set up his broster with. The friend is understandably still upset, but agrees to let him come in to his work to help.

Ma'am I think you have a smoke snake coming out of your head.

After working for a bit, the friend tells him that he isn’t going to let him stay working there, he wants him to stay home with his wife. But he will hire him, just as a work at home Web designer. Even though he doesn’t have a job his wife can explain to the neighbors, she’s still very proud of him.

Dawww they're so cute!

And that’s where the episode ends.

FINALLY we’re back to the stuff I loved this show for. The husband and the wife being adorable. Honestly with the whole broster crap I actually became less interested in this show, but this episode brought me right back. There weren’t too many jokes, but the fact that this show went back to its roots has made me really happy and definitely want to see more.

For a show that’s only 3 minutes long per episode I am extremely invested. But that’s why it’s so important every second is good in these episodes. In  a show like Shirobako if there’s 2 minutes of boring stuff, there’s still 20 minutes more to make up for it. In this show, you get 3 minutes. That’s it. It’s nice to see though that I can once again enjoy this show unimpeded.

All in all, this episode was nice as it’s back to what it first started as, but it didn’t blow me away. Very good, but not fantastic. Still, can’t wait for next episode. Hopefully it will be broster free.

Episode 7/10
