Even Rose can't believe it, and she's the one who has to follow the script!

NOTE OF THE DAY: PUT YOUR MOUSE OVER THE IMAGE TO SEE MY CAPTIONS
… You  know how Disney classic animation plots had within 48 hours romance that included bold confessions and marriages? Well, this episode was no different. So here we got helpless Rose who has been kidnapped the ferocious Black Dragon known as Onyx who wishes her to become his bride so that he can possess the power to conquer the world. He tries to change Rose’s perspective on what she thinks and feels about humans, declaring that humans hate them and use them. He threatens to kill Ryuji who she desperately wants to protect because she ‘loves’ him, and the the only reason why she willingly went along with him when he took her away in the first place.

In the mean time, our pathetic prince Ryuji mopes about while his cousin Eriko lectures him that he should go and save Rose with them. Finally when he agrees, the two of them head off to a magical chamber where S-Class Lost Preciousness are kept in and Eriko reveals Slash Breath, a weapon that Ryuji’s parents went through soooo much trouble to get their hands on for him. He tries using this magical weapon which by the way they STILL haven’t explained how it fucking works so we are left assume they possess magical powers and vandalizes the entire room – surprisingly not slicing Eriko in two while he was as it. So off they go on their flying carpet with the Society’s wonderful helicopter. The pilot announces that they cannot approach the radio tower due to a magnetic field, which is apparently a dragon’s barrier. Ryuji then spots the magical dagger glowing and decides to open the freaking door and aimlessly swipes the air, slicing the barrier  in two, allowing them to get through.

So they go in with the SWAT-like crew and one of the guys gets hit, a standoff starts and Eriko guides Ryuji into the elavator while they have a chance. The professor, who was previously pinned down so that he wouldn’t get killed in the middle of the standoff somehow got in as well. While going up, Eriko suggests that Rose’s feelings towards Ryuji might’ve been love at first sight. The proffessor denies this theory since from his data Dragons aren’t very emotional creatures. Finally, reaching the top, they barge into the room where the fail ceremony was taking place without a priest/minister/wedding-dude/ WHATEVER. Onyx tells Rose to tell her beloved ones friends that she hates them all, especially Ryuji. Of course thinking he needs to step it up and prove her wrong, Ryuji takes on the role of Prince Charming and declares his love for her.

Of course Onyx isn’t happy to hear this. He’s pissed off, takes a big hissy fit about how love will never work between Dragons and Humans and so on. In other words, he’s probably just extremely jealous and has his own heartbreak complex where the love of his life was a human and their love was forbidden – oh how tragic! Eriko on the other-hand (I don’t know how she pulled it off like she did) shoots at Onyx and breaks off her earring which he was previously wearing and has it returned to her. Now even more enraged Onyx decides to go all out and transform into his true form – HERE IT COMES, THE DISNEY DRAGON CLASSIC.

PRINCE RYUGI BRAVELY STANDS UP TO THIS MONSTROUS BEAST, HE ATTACKS, BUT IT WAS USELESS. WANTING TO PROTECT ROSE SO MUCH THEY BOTH SUDDENLY FOUND A CONTRACT BEING FORMED AND THE TWO OF THEM HE GOT A SUPER UBER POWER UP AND DEFEATED THE DRAGON (WHICH I DOUBT) ONLY TO FIND THAT HE WAS FATALLY PIERCED BY A DRAGON SCALE, ONLY TO BE REVIVED HEALED BY ROSE WITH A KISS. WITH ROSE SUCCESSFULLY RESCUED THEY LEAVE FOR THEIR NEXT JOURNEY, AWAY THEY WENT TO LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER.

In the end, how am I supposed to react to this? For one, I despise this kind of romance development – actually you know what? Scratch that, I can’t even call this a romantic development! We’re at episode three and this is what we got, corny freaking confessions. Love at first sight – a confession from Ryuji who made is sound so half hearted that it was almost as if there were no meaning in it.
So what’s next? Nothing, I’m dropping this. There’s no way I can continue to blog this without my mind getting stuck in the gutter, unsure what to talk about without being sarcastic. I’ll watch the next episode to see if anything happens – and if something does, perhaps I’ll give it one more chance, but in the mean time this is being dropped.

:O YOU’RE DROPPING IT?!?! Gee, I was the one who thought I was going to stop watching it soon and then this week’s episode showed up, giving us some badass action and I started loving it! Unfortunately I already have way too many things to blog on the weekend and can’t take it over D: *sad face*

LOL, I can barely call this badass action because I seen better. Badass QUALITY though, yes – they got that. Just ugh, the pace so far and the characters, I don’t it enough. Like I said I’ll watch the next episode and if it turns around I’ll do an entry on it, but for the mean time it’s dropped because I really don’t see myself motivated enough to even cover this.
PS: This comes out on Mondays not the weekend. XD
