Anyway so shit went down the monolith exploded a day early. The adjuvant forms together but the military is basically slaughtered. Rentaro is forced to make a judgement call he knows will bite him in the ass later.

Everyone is thrown off guard by the appearance of a gastrea with an ability called the spear of light. People are dying everywhere due to this.

Rentaro abandons the adjuvant groups in order to support them from behind otherwise they will be flanked, of course this will almost immediately bite him in the ass. During the aftermath of the attack we learn the gastrea likely uses mercury in his attacks, blinding and poisoning those he does not kill.

Ok let’s be for real here. The adjuvant leader says he has to go kill the gastrea with the spear of light by himself for abandoning the group. But it’s not even fucking. . . I just. . .Kisara sees him go and just fucking lets him. I can’t with her. She is so generic and “HE A MAN HE GOTTA DO WHAT HE DO YOU KNOW” I cant with her.
