The Emperor and the Justice

Ignore the SRS ACTION ANIMU featured image, episode 13 was just our heroes being silly and sadistic jerks that laugh at the enemy for being so helpless and crying for his life. I thought this stuff was for young boys? I’ll never know that they teach young Japanese boys in the 80s.

Episode 13 was a pretty interesting episode actually. I’m starting to just go along with how the fights shouldn’t have any real stakes, since its a monster of the week thing, and just go with the flow instead. This works i favor of episodes where the cast just goofs off against a weaker enemy (see Hol Horse, the Empress), and 13 is one of them. His stand is a car that transforms so it starts turning into a weird racer car, into something lethal in attempts to corner and crush the Joestars (lol)….and when he fails and gets captured the poor man just starts shriveling up in fear and begs for mercy. And our heroes laugh at him. THEY LAUGH AT HIM.

Episode 14 was fun too, though it was infinitely more serious, since we all know old lady Enyaba has come under direct contact with Dio and has been the one summoning other Stand users to eliminate the Joestars. Enyaba herself is pretty funny though. Maybe my sense of humor is slightly twisted, but I liked how much hate she has in that tiny little body – she fakes a smile but on the inside she’s just all I’LL SKEWER YOU AND MICROWAVE YOUR PET KITTEN!!!, especially when it comes to Polnareff. Poor Polnareff though, he’s trying to be so nice but he keeps getting hated by everyone. I suspect that his outfit is the cause.

or it could be that he says stupid stuff like this

I was surprised though, that Enyaba would actually eliminate Hol Horse when he could’ve been helpful in killing Jojo, but what we got out of that was a rather sadistic fight. Hol Horse having a scissor blade being driven through his wrist continuously, and then having his fist being controlled by Enyaba’s Stand…stuffed into his mouth causing him to puke…yeah. It was pretty nasty. What a shame for Hol Horse to die like that though, I wanted to see more from him considering how he’s actually a pretty amusing character.

Next week’s episode seems to be focusing on Polnareff having toilet troubles again. Poor boy can’t catch a break, huh.

I must say.. this is the first time i saw Jotaro can smile. Is Jotaro also smiles in the manga?

Jotaro never smiles. That’s what makes it so disturbing, haha! I don’t read the manga though (I plan to once Part 3 is over though!)

Cant wait to see Jotaro vs Justice in the next episode!

Looking at the previews though it seems to suggest Justice vs Polnareff instead. They duke it out in the toilet (I hope)
