One Punch Man Episode 11: The Dominator of the Universe

They really dragged this episode out. Though I guess I understand. Gotta leave the best for last, right?

Very action-packed episode. Even though it was filler, I liked that they showed some past characters again as they were watching the news, like Hammerhead, and the House of Evolution guys. Nice to see them leading normal lives. The rest of the episode was fighting, with the S-class handling the alien with the complicated name. Metal Bat was able to figure out its weakness by finding a blue marble in it, which is basically its life, and crushing it would kill one of the heads. So the heroes went and did that. The regenerative alien called out to the blue octopus alien (honestly who actually remembered their names?) that he was having trouble and needed missiles to take everyone out. That was about to happen until Tatsumaki showed up and shot them all back at the ship, which was already in enough damage because of Saitama.

Also happening outside is the true hero, Licenseless Rider, going out there and gathering up survivors, soon to be joined by Lightning Max and Stinger.

So while all of that is happening inside, Saitama is still inside the ship and wrecking havoc. He’s destroyed almost 20% of the ship. And when octopus alien tries giving him directions to leave, Saitama’s a little shit and goes the opposite direction and bashes into the control room. Kills blue octopus and asks the others in the control room where the boss is.

And then eventually he reaches Boros. Boros explains to Saitama about himself, like he’s destroyed many planets to spice up his boring life. But then he received a prophecy that one day in his life on a distant planet he would meet someone that would be on the same power level as him. He got that prophecy 20 years ago, and meeting Saitama, he knows the prophecy has come true. Saitama punches him into the wall and talks smack about him about destroying planets. That’s when things get real, as he removes his armor. And then, we’ll finally be able to see the big fight in the final episode next week! 😀

I do understand that they would want all the time the make  the final fight special, but dragging out some of the events in this episode can make it boring. Though there was some good action. I just thought that they’d show some of it today, but oh well.
